Welcome to the Koala Furnishings website terms and conditions page. Please read them carefully before using the website. Your continued use of this website constitutes your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. They do not affect your stautory rights.
Koala Furnishings Ltd reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without notice to you and any changes will come into affect on the day they are posted.

Dimensions & Descriptions
We do our best to describe the products for sale as accurately as possible. All measurements are listed as supplied by the manufacturer and should be used for guidance only. If you need more exact measurements please contact us and we will try and help.
The Contract
An order is placed by selecting an item/s and following the instructions. By placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out here.
After you have placed your order you will recieve an email from us which is an acknowledgement and not an acceptance of your order. Emails are sent during working hours Mon-Fri 10:00am to 5:00pm. If you pay using the Paypal checkout you will also receive a confirmation email of your payment from Paypal, please keep this for your records. This email usualy arrives straight after you have payed.
We reserve the right to decline all or part of any order for whatsoever reason. We will notify you by email if this should occur.
Payment
All prices shown include the current rate of VAT
Payments online are made using Paypals secure online shopping cart and checkout service. Details of which can be found at www.paypal.com/uk .
We can also accept credit/debit card payment over the phone providing the goods are to be delivered to the card holders billing address.
You will become the owner of the goods at the time of delivery, provided the goods have been paid for in full.
Cooling off period
In accordance with distance selling regulations you have a statutory cooling off period which begins from the date you placed your order online and ends 7 working days after you have received the goods. Some items are exempt from this cooling off period, for example a mattress or pillow that has been taken out of its sealed packaging in which it was delivered. Also, made to measure or non standard order items ordered.
You are required to inform us in writing during the cooling off period that you are cancelling the contract.
If the goods have been delivered when you wish to cancel the contract , the goods must be returned to us as soon as possible. On receipt of the goods you are the owner of those goods and are liable for their loss or destruction. The goods must be returned to us as soon as possible. We will refund to you all the monies paid by you for the goods in question, excluding the original delivery charge. Refunds are given as soon as possible and within 30 days of your order being accepted by us, this is provided that the goods have been returned by you and received by us in the condition that they were when delivered to you.
Delivery
Goods are usualy delivered to you by courier, the courier company will contact you prior to delivery to advise when they will be delivering.
Goods are usualy delivered to your front door. However on some occasions the courier may be able to place the goods in the room the item is going, this is provided there is reasonable access to the room and that it has been arranged when the courier company books in the delivery with you.
Please check the goods are in good condition before signing for them as accepted. If any damage is found return the damaged item on the courier in its original packaging and write on the delivery sheet that it is damaged.
Goods that are damaged on arrival will be replaced at no cost to the customer. Either a whole new item or a replacement part/ piece will be supplied.
Delivery times quoted are aproximate. If circumstances change, we will inform you by email. If however, the delay is due to circumstances beyond our control we cannot accept any liability for consequential loss.
Privicy Policy
When you place an order or make an enquiry through our website you will be asked to provide certain information about yourself such as name and contact details. This information is used by us to provide the goods or services you have requested.
We will not disclose any of your information to third parties, however we may use it to contact you from time to time with offers or promotions you may be interested in. You can opt out of this by sending an email to koalasales@talktalk.net stating that you do not wish to receive any further information.
